Way to Go Dear Teacher

Recently, you like many others, may have come to know Mahan and his teacher in media.  A teacher with a hairless head, holding the hand of his fellow student while facing the camera with a smile.  The story is that one of his students has a type of skin disease which has caused him hair loss.  The thoughtful teacher has taught each and every one of us a lesson in life, a lesson in fostering the spirit of humanity.  He has showed us how a simple act of shaving his head can become an enduring symbol of kindness for the student and the rest of us.

Mahan with his beautiful face has adopted the look of many of his peers we know as MAHAK children.  As a non-profit organization which has supported over 20,000 children with cancer during its 20-plus years of experience, MAHAK is pleased that Mahan skin disease is not only not life threatening but that he is currently in the process of treatment.  MAHAK children wish Mahan the best and the most rapid recovery.

This act of kindness has also been replicated in the past in MAHAK by the service support crew who shaved their heads to show their support to the children.  There are even rumors that our own Mr. B who works on the management floor has emulated our good teacher and his co-workers in sympathy with MAHAK children who sometimes experience hair loss in the process of treatment.

MAHAK appreciates the love and humanitarian act of this teacher and all those who undertake similar acts thus demonstrating a deep sense of appreciation for humanitarian values and understanding the impact one gesture by one person can have on multiple others.  Thank you teacher, thank you co-workers and volunteers.
