During February 2025, MAHAK has participated in World Cancer Day (WCD) and International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD) campaigns by introducing three unique badges. While MAHAK has a history of creating badges for various campaigns, this year’s designs stand out due to the inclusion of a special item: the badge explanation card.
Our goal this year was to ensure that everyone receiving a badge also understands the campaign’s origins and purpose. We have expanded our efforts to include not only the initial recipients but also their surroundings. This time, if you took home MAHAK badge along with its explanation card, the ones around you get acquainted with the campaign as well. An infinite chain of awareness and engagement.
When individuals take home MAHAK badges designed for the February campaigns, the accompanying explanation cards allow those around them to learn about the campaign and become engaged.
A key aspect of these explanation cards is their language! Since most of our audience speaks Farsi, we created three distinct designs for the explanation cards corresponding to each badge. However, recognizing our extensive international partnerships and collaborations, we also developed English versions for all the cards.
All in all, MAHAK Charity Institute produced three thousand badges and four designs of explanation cards for the WCD/ICCD campaigns in 2025, aiming to maximize both local and international engagement.
