Each year on October 15, the world observes White Cane Safety Day to recognize the achievements and independence of people who are blind or visually impaired, and to raise awareness of the white cane as a symbol of autonomy, confidence and inclusion.
The 2025 theme, “Vision Beyond Sight: Celebrating Independence, Resilience, and Recognizing Achievements of the Blind,” highlights the importance of looking beyond visual impairment and celebrating the strength, talent and contributions of individuals in the blind and visually impaired community. It also honors the white cane as a vital tool that supports freedom of movement and equal participation in society.
At MAHAK, we understand that visual challenges can sometimes arise as a side effect of pediatric cancer treatment. Our team of specialists provides continuous support and rehabilitation services to help children adapt, regain confidence and continue their journey toward a fulfilling life.
On this day, we join the global community in celebrating independence, resilience and the extraordinary capabilities of those who see the world not only with their eyes, but with their courage and determination.
