Iranians celebrate the last Tuesday of the Persian year called “Chaharshanbe Suri” to welcome the Persian New Year. Support services department of MAHAK held a ceremony on the same occasion for the children and their families to spend a joyful time together.
This “Chaharshanbe Suri” celebration was held while different songs belonging to different areas around Iran were played and children and their families were excited by hearing the ones related to their hometown. In the end the children jumped over fire as a custom of this ceremony with the help of volunteers and other friends of theirs and wished a great year ahead.
We appreciate your support which leads to preserving the cancer-stricken children’s happiness during their treatment days. We wish more and more children will recover from cancer as a result of your constant care and patronage.
