Workshop on Botox Therapy in Pain Medicine

Committed to enhancing the quality of the educational services, MAHAK Specialized Hospital & Research Center regularly conducts conferences and other knowledge sharing programs in order to share knowledge and experience to improve the quality of therapeutic and general medical services in support of children suffering from cancer.

In line with this mission, the very first comprehensive one-day conference on ‘Botox Therapy in Pain Medicine’ is planned to be held in MAHAK on December 20, 2012. Presently, there are various methods for controlling and treating pain among which Botox injection is rapidly becoming prominent. The main foci of the upcoming conference are this method’s challenges, advantages, disadvantages, and clinical trials and experiences.

During the workshop, practical methods for Botox injection to control and treat pain will be taught by Dr.Farid Gharehdaghi, MAHAK’s pain treatment specialist.
