On World Cancer Day 2026, MAHAK Charity Institute joins the global cancer community in advancing this year’s campaign led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). As a committed UICC member, MAHAK once again aligns its awareness and advocacy efforts with the official theme and strategy introduced for this global observance.

World Cancer Day serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of collective action in prevention, early detection, treatment, and support for people affected by cancer. At MAHAK, this global message is translated into year-round action through comprehensive care for children with cancer and sustained public engagement to raise awareness and mobilize support.

MAHAK’s longstanding commitment to the World Cancer Day campaign was internationally recognized in 2020, when the institute received the World Cancer Day Spirit Award from UICC—becoming the first cancer institute worldwide to be honored for implementing the campaign in full alignment with UICC’s strategies.

In 2026, MAHAK continues this proud tradition, reaffirming its dedication to global collaboration, public awareness, and equitable access to cancer care for children and families across Iran.
