November 13 marks World Kindness Day, a poignant reminder of the dynamic power of kindness in our everyday lives. This day encourages individuals and communities to foster a culture of compassion and empathy, highlighting the slogan: even the smallest acts can make a huge difference.
Established in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement (WKM) in Japan, this global observance is dedicated to promoting kindness as a means to create a better world. Over the years, WKM has engaged with many individuals and communities worldwide, turning the spotlight on the importance of kindness in building and maintaining connections.
Through simple acts of kindness, one can initiate a ripple effect of change that can alter lives of countless individuals. By being kind, a hungry child is fed, a sick child gets care, a young mind is shaped, and a vulnerable child is protected.
On the occasion of World Kindness Day 2024, we can proudly declare that MAHAK has the kindest friends, supporters, and volunteers. Over three decades, MAHAK has accomplished to keep working and providing services for children and their families, because kind people refused to quit being kind. They consistently connect others to the circle of kindness creating a chain that seems endless.
World Kindness Day is the best opportunity to express our gratitude to our children, families, supporters, volunteers and MAHAK restless personnel, whom their love and compassion have made this journey possible.
