World Asthma Day, marked on the first Tuesday of every year and announced by GINA (Global Initiative for Asthma), is celebrated to increase the awareness among public worldwide about precaution and prevention of the Asthma. According to WHO, there are 300 million people suffering from Asthma and it is the most common chronic disease among children.We at MAHAK appreciate all the efforts from individuals and organizations which are playing a significant role in controlling Asthma and supporting not only people with Asthma but also their families, friends and caregivers.
MAHAK, as a NGO celebrating its 25th anniversary, hopes through education and increasing knowledge the number of people suffering from Asthma especially children will drop significantly.
