MAHAK Attends the World UN Ceremony

The CEO of MAHAK, Arasb Ahmadian attended the United Nations 70th anniversary celebrated on 12 October at Iran’s Foreign Ministry on the occasion of World’s UN Day.

United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office organized an event to celebrate the UN’s 70th anniversary jointly by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations. This event was held with the notable presence of the UN Deputy Secretary-General, Mr. Jan Eliassion and Deputy Foreign Minister of Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Araghchi as well as the UN Resident Coordinator, Mr. Gary Lewis and his Country Team, government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, UN counterparts, the Media and UN staff.

In line with its commitment to contribute to the realization of the fourth MDG regarding reducing child mortality, MAHAK operates with a long-lasting goal of implementing partnership with the UN agencies, namely United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) to improve its efforts and services. Besides, MAHAK consistently strives to have a proactive participation in the national and international events organized by UN, which are held in the field of humanitarian activities.
