1st International Congress on Support Services at MAHAK

The 1st International Congress on Support Services focusing on psychological-social work interventions will be held coinciding with the 3rd National Congress on Support Services, on October 29-30, 2015 at MAHAK Pediatric Cancer Treatment & Research Center (MPCTRC). It aims to improve the interactions between alike organizations at the national and international level by sharing experiences and expertise with colleagues in these areas.

The main subject foci of this congress are:

• Understanding the process of the transformation of social NGOs’ activities

• Methods of social participations by NGOs

• The interaction between the fields of social work, psychology and medical treatment

MAHAK, as a pioneer in making available scientific and technical methods pertaining to children with cancer in Iran, is striving to implement these types of events to bring further awareness and scientific information.

Presence of professionals and experts of related fields in such forums will most certainly be helpful for achieving the best treatment methods possible.
