On the National Firefighter’s Day, the rescue team of the firefighters from the region 3 municipality zone of Tehran visited MAHAK and made a very memorable and happy day for the children with cancer.
At the beginning of their visit, Arasb Ahmadian, the CEO of MAHAK, welcomed the firefighters and acknowledged their presence at MAHAK. He mentioned that the MAHAK children are very happy to see the firefighters here and many of them are very interested in firefighting career. MAHAK is honored that all social and occupational groups are working with this organization and think about children suffering from cancer.
During their stay, the firefighters visited MAHAK’s residential center along with MAHAK’s wards and playrooms. MAHAK children became very excited seeing the firefighters with their clothes and equipment, and they sang a poem for them upon their arrival. The children also did paintings and made simple handicrafts with the firefighters and took pictures. In addition, one of the firefighters gave a brief lecture about the firefighting activities for the children and their families. At the end, a painting drawn by pre-teen supporters of MAHAK was contributed to the firefighters.
MAHAK is indeed grateful to all those who care about the wellbeing and happiness of the other human beings. With such support and cooperation, we believe that we could strive into a far better future for the MAHAK children.
