MAHAK’s Representative attends the SIOP International Congress

MAHAK representative, Dr. Azim Mehrvar, a Hematologist and Pediatric Oncology specialist and head of MAHAK Hospital, attended the 45th congress held by the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP) in Hong Kong (China).In pursuit of its noble mission of ’We Care – We Share’, MAHAK consistently strives to have a proactive participation in the regional and international meetings, conferences, workshops, and congresses which are held in the field of cancer throughout the globe to share knowledge and achievements in the fields of research and treatment of all cancer types affecting children.
This year the SIOP conference hosted a multi-stakeholder forum including parents, survivors, clinicians, healthcare professionals, scientists and industry leaders with a high quality and diverse scientific program with stimulating educational sessions featuring multi-disciplinary symposia, keynote lectures, poster sessions and other forums.
We at MAHAK, would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in organizing this conference and are pleased that we had this opening to participate in this congress and benefit from this unique chance to discuss, learn, and support each other and to move forward in our common mission against childhood cancer.
We express our preparedness and determination to play an active role toward the fruition of our common dream of eradicating cancer and hope that one day all cancer-stricken children receive the global support and assistance required for a life of dignity and fulfillment.
