Food Security Is Dependent on A Healthy Society

MAHAK would like to commemorate on October 16th the World Food Day 2013 under the theme of ‘Sustainable Food Systems for Food Security and Nutrition’ announced by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and express its appreciation to all community-based and non-governmental organizations which have adopted proactive and effective measures to address the long-standing issue of hunger and reassess food lifestyles and agricultural production methods.

In honor of this day, MAHAK would like to play its small part in spreading the FAO message around the world and draw as much attention to this issue as possible by increasing understanding of problems and solutions in the drive to end hunger. Ending hunger is only viable through creation of jobs which in turn are reliable on a general state of health for the society as a whole. By delivering comprehensive services to cancer-stricken children and their families, MAHAK seeks to improve the health of its stakeholders and thus play its part in paving the way for a healthy and productive society.
