To praise and acknowledge mothers’ ever–lasting love, Mother’s Day celebration was held in MAHAK on 10th of Ordibehesht with the help of Supportive Services department with attendance of children, their families and some celebrities.
MAHAK was born on mothers’ love and affection. Since its foundation, MAHAK has always protected children suffering from cancer and their families with medical and welfare support in order for them to spend their arduous treatment period with the least amount of anxiety and fear possible.
At 10 a.m., joyful laughter filled the hallways of MAHAK hospital. Children were congratulating their mothers with warm gestures and smiles while sharing cake, colorful balloons and other gifts presented to them by MAHAK workers and volunteers. Celebrities also attended this ceremony. They made sure kids enjoyed their time along with their mothers while playing music, singing songs, and reciting nice stories and jokes.
We at MAHAK hope that all cancer stricken children are returned cured to their mothers who will then be able to attend to their healthy needs like all of our mothers have done and continue to do.
