Inauguration of Tajrish Office

Tarjish office was inaugurated on Saturday May 4, 2013. The opening ceremony was attended by MAHAK Board of Trustees and Directors, a group of executive managers, relevant staff and benefactors.

Tajrish is the 11th office space converted from sites either procured by the organization or donated by benefactors and renovated under the tutelage of MAHAK Fundraising department to receive public donations and provide other donor services in support of cancer stricken children and their families.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Javad Karbassi-zadeh, MAHAK Chairman of the Board, welcomed attendees and stated that “in accordance with current strategic program of the institution and for facilitating relationship with benefactors and supporters, MAHAK intends to expand its presence via offices throughout Tehran and, in the proceeding phases, throughout Iran.”

Ms. Saideh Ghods, founder of MAHAK expressed her appreciation for continuous support and trust of all benefactors and, in relation to this particular office which has been equipped through the generosity of herself and her family expressed that “we are glad to have contributed to establishing a heritage presence in this district while spreading the idea of helping fellow human beings with the hope for the day when all cancer-stricken patients receive the required support and assistance.”

We at MAHAK hope to increasingly benefit from these types of generosities enabling us to provide more and better services to children with cancer and their families for many years to come.
