For the 2010 SGS benchmarking, MAHAK managed to raise its position to seventeen. Today, It is our great pleasure to inform our beneficiaries, supporters, volunteers, and staff that in the latest SGS continuum of 219 audited NGO worldwide , MAHAK has obtained the 10th best score with our Public Relations activities earning the perfect mark of 100.
What is NGO Benchmarking?
NGO Benchmarking standard provides nongovernmental organization with the best modes of working from an Internationally Accepted Reference standpoint. By rating organizations in various critical elements of organizational activities such as transparency, accounting and financial integrity, and human resources management, a globally-active organization such as SGS identifies areas of concern and/or weakness while providing guidance for improvement.
By implementing the suggested methods, the capable rated agencies can undertake improvement steps which if successful will be reflected in proceeding rating exercise. Implementing these methods enables NGOs to operate in a more sustainable manner by improving quality, productivity and compliance with acceptable norms while reducing risks thus raising organizations accountability towards their beneficiaries.
