One, two, three; this is a familiar sound for children at exercise time always reminding joy, happiness and excitement. This sound was constantly repeated in Siavash’s head ringing a bell that cancer cannot make him to say goodbye to his favorite sport and it is not the end of championship for him. Every night he dreamed of training, exercise camps and winning different competitions; these dreams were so pleasant for him. Eventually, he could obtain his goal by staying hopeful and patient.
Siavash Asgarizadeh is one of MAHAK’s survived children who suffered from blood cancer type AML. With his hope and persistence, he could achieve the third prize of the 60 kg weight at Matsushima Competition in Hamedan to prove everyone that cancer is not an obstacle on his way to championship.
At MAHAK, every moment reminds us that “Cancer Is Not the End.”
