Atena, the Brave

Seven-year old Atena, who was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma in 2007 and became cancer free under MAHAK coverage in 2008, plans to become a biomedical engineer when she grows up.

Atena later on said: “When I was sick, while my mother and father were beside me, my brother studied well and is now enrolled in Sampad School. I too, have received perfect grades in my studies as well.”

We wish Atena and other brave children recovering from this malaise the best of luck in realizing their dreams.
