MAHAK children who are in the remission phase have always been a symbol of hope for our ever expanding family, children and their families battling pediatric cancer.
Kamran is among these heroes and heroines who suffered from cancer at the age of 13 and lost his left leg while coping with his disease. Losing the leg never caused him to lose his hope and as a result, now at the age of 21, he is a javelin and track champion. He has gained many medals in various sport competitions such as:
Gold medal in International Javelin, Berlin 2012
Gold medal in International Youth Javelin, 2011
Gold medal in Javelin, 2011 Asian Para Games
Gold medal in Disk launch and Silver medal in Javelin, 2009 Japan Olympics
Gold medal in Disk launch and silver medal in shot put, 2009 Asian Youth Games
Gold medal in Javelin, a breaking the world record by 3.39 m
Bronze medal in Disk launch, 2011 UAE Paralympics Game (IWAS)
Kamran has participated in 2012 London Paralympics Games and we hope he will bring a broad smile to the faces of all Iranians by winning the upcoming competitions.
MAHAK wishes that all children suffering from cancer receive the required support for a life of dignity.
