MAHAK Hospital Playrooms – Spaces of Joy and Healing

At MAHAK, we believe that treating childhood cancer goes beyond medical care. Alongside advanced treatment and professional support, children need moments of play, creativity and joy to help them cope with the challenges of their journey. This is why playrooms are an essential part of the MAHAK Pediatric Cancer Treatment and Research Center.

A Place for Children to Be Children

Playrooms are designed as safe and welcoming spaces where children can relax, interact with peers and experience a sense of normal childhood during their hospital stay. Filled with toys, books, art supplies and educational games, these spaces allow children to express themselves, release stress and build resilience while undergoing treatment.

Supporting Emotional and Social Well-being

Play is a powerful tool for healing. In collaboration with psychologists, social workers and volunteers, playroom activities help children:

Involving Families and Volunteers

Their contribution brings color, hope and comfort to children’s everyday lives.
