On the occasion of World Cancer Day (#WCD2024), a press conference was organized and attended by representatives of MAHAK and other active charities in the field of childhood cancer from all over Iran. These charities joined the Aid Network for Children with Cancer, in response to MAHAK’s invitation. As an empowerment program by MAHAK, these charities have become capable of supporting children with cancer in their own provinces (East-Azebaijan, Isfahan, and Khorasan Razavi). During this press conference, these three charities reported on the services and programs they have provided as well as the journey they passed.
Kassa Charity in Isfahan, Taskin in Tabriz, and Khorasan in Mashhad are among the charities that have become empowered with the mentoring of MAHAK. Currently, they support children with cancer in their own provinces. MAHAK and these charities strive to ensure that medical and supportive services for our children are not limited to the capital city and are provided integrally throughout Iran.
The reason our press conference was held in Shiraz city is to talk about world cancer day, attract the attention of different strata of the society to childhood cancer as well as to emphasize that MAHAK and its services are not limited to Tehran, but belong to all children across our country.
Stay tuned; we will provide you with more details in this regard.
