According to a Persian Tradition, Iranians gather together with their relatives to celebrate the longest night of the year which is when the winter solstice occurs and it is called “Yalda Night” in Farsi. MAHAK children who need to stay in the hospital or one of the two residential centers can’t get together with their family on this occasion. Therefore, support services department held Yalda Night celebration at MAHAK Hospital and both of MAHAK’s residential centers with the aim of creating memorable and delightful moments for the children.
Our children got thrilled by seeing Yalda Night decorations and took photos with them along with their parents. Children’s happiness warmed the hearts of their parents whose Yalda Night’s wishes were the recovery of their children from cancer.
All such joyful moments and celebrations occur because of the support of the ever-growing family of MAHAK. We look forward to bid farewell to cancer in future with this care and support.
