MAHAK charity institute participates in “The 16th Congress of Asia Continental Branch of International Society of Paediatric Oncology-SIOP Asia 2024”.

Dr. Hadieh Eslampanah, the Director of International Communications Department and as MAHAK representative, contributed to this round towards paving the pathway for global collaborations in pediatric cancer. During the congress days, she showcased MAHAK remarkable achievements, solidified key connections, nurtured promising prospects in dealing with other international organizations, assembles, experts and specialists. The pivotal highlights of this event include:

               A. MAHAK representative led the negotiation with associations and organizations such as: SIOP, CCI, WHO, CCAJ, St. Jude children’s Research Hospital to plan for joint-workshops, campaigns and dynamic partnerships towards expanding MAHAK international networks at health and treatment industry.

 

               B. With respect to more than two decades of cooperation between MAHAK and CCI, MAHAK representative followed up the constructive negotiations and promising conversations to develop collaborations and undergoing joint endeavors with Rodney Wong, CCI president; Benson Pau, President of CCI Asia; Carl Queiros, CCI Executive director; and other CCI board members.

 

               C. Arasb Ahmadian, as the CEO of MAHAK, got nominated at CCI Association board for “the Mobilizing Resources Sector” alongside the co-founder of KidsCanCanKids society, India. Moreover, Dr. Eslampanah, MAHAK Director of International Communications Department, and Ms. Nazanin Khosravi, MAHAK Head of Psychology Department, were nominated as members of the CCI working groups.

 

               D. MAHAK representative delivered a presentation about MAHAK charity institute history, activities, services, mission and vision for children suffering from cancer and their family. She also presented the research study entitled The Impact of Gestalt Play Therapy on Resilience & Hope of Children with Cancer’ conducted by MAHAK psychologist, Neda Moradi, who works at MAHAK Supportive Services Department

 

               E. The stimulating negotiations were conducted between MAHAK representative and the Japanese representative from St. Luke International Hospital about pediatric cancer clinical trial studies. Likewise, she undertook investigations with Japanese companies presenting at the congress, in the area of high-advanced nano and radiology equipment, which is correlated with MAHAK vision to develop its health care facilities and capabilities based on novel international approaches.

 

               F. Through establishing meaningful and dynamic connections with prominent institutions and assembles in Asia regions like India, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippine, and Indonesia, the proper bed was built up to share experiences and insights, fostering cross-border collaboration towards a better world for children suffering from cancer.

 

The remarkable achievements of MAHAK contribution at Japan congress reflect MAHAK unwavering commitment to align with the global initiatives in childhood cancer. Such an endeavor not only underpins MAHAK international presence but also extend efficacious collaborations beyond borders.
