Whenever colored papers are placed on the desk, the children get together enthusiastically to make handicrafts. This is the residential center of MAHAK; A roof for children and their families who come to MAHAK Hospital for medical tests and treatment, so that they will not have any concerns for having a place to stay. Under this roof, other plans are in progress in addition to providing accommodation for cancer-stricken children and their families. There are social workers who stay at the residential center 24/7 to support the children and their families throughout the treatment path and there are volunteers who perform entertaining activities for the children and their families to have a happy time together.
Flowers, hearts, houses, trees and so on are what MAHAK children make with colored papers. This way they add the color of hope to their life during the time they have to spend for their treatment. Hope continues at MAHAK.
