Each year on 29 September, the world comes together to mark World Heart Day, an initiative dedicated to raising awareness about cardiovascular health and the prevention of heart disease—the leading cause of death worldwide.

The theme for 2025, “Don’t Miss a Beat,” emphasizes the importance of protecting heart health at every stage of life. It reminds us that every heartbeat counts and calls on individuals, families and communities to take action by prioritizing prevention, adopting healthier lifestyles and seeking timely medical care. The campaign highlights the value of regular check-ups, paying attention to warning signs and making sustainable lifestyle changes such as balanced nutrition, regular physical activity and avoiding tobacco—all of which play a vital role in reducing cardiovascular risks.

At MAHAK, while our primary mission is to support children with cancer, we recognize that heart health is inseparable from overall well-being. Many cancer treatments can affect the heart, which makes cardiovascular monitoring and care an important part of comprehensive treatment. By raising awareness, we hope to remind families and communities that protecting heart health is essential to ensuring brighter and healthier futures.

On World Heart Day 2025, MAHAK joins the global call: Don’t miss a beat—protect your heart, protect your life.

Because every young life holds incredible promise.
