World Teachers’ Day 2025 – Recasting Teaching as a Collaborative Profession

Each year on October 5, the world celebrates World Teachers’ Day to recognize the invaluable role of teachers in shaping lives, communities and the future.

The 2025 theme, “Recasting Teaching as a Collaborative Profession,” emphasizes the transformative power of collaboration among teachers, schools and education systems. It calls for reframing teaching as an inherently collective profession—one supported by environments, policies and practices that promote mutual learning, shared expertise and joint responsibility.

At MAHAK, we deeply understand the importance of collaboration in education and care. The teachers and educational volunteers at MAHAK Hospital work hand in hand with medical teams, psychologists and families to ensure that children receiving cancer treatment continue their education and maintain a sense of normalcy during their journey.
