MAHAK’s Condolence Message on Demise of the Great Artist

On behalf of MAHAK- the Society to Support Children Suffering from Cancer we express our deepest condolences on the passing of Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian. Farmanfarmaian was the first Iranian artist whose works have been featured at a solo exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum in New York and has been widely featured in Middle Eastern, American and European countries by art historians. This outstanding artist donated her masterpiece of ‘Aineh Kari’ (Mirror Work) to MAHAK in July 2018. We pay tribute to her and wish her soul may rest in peace.
