Tehran Time’s News on MAHAK’s National Doctors’ Day Ceremony

In a recent report, the Tehran Times presented MAHAK’s comprehensive model of care for children with cancer. The article explains how, since 1991, MAHAK has brought together medical treatment, psychological and social support, research, public awareness, and international cooperation within an integrated ecosystem. By the end of 2025, MAHAK had supported more than 45,000 children with cancer and their families. The report also highlights the potential contribution of artificial intelligence, telemedicine, and digital health systems to diagnosis, treatment planning, complication monitoring, and personalized care. By supporting healthcare professionals and strengthening MAHAK’s patient-centered approach, these technologies can expand children’s access to specialized, continuous, and compassionate cancer care across Iran in the years ahead.

A Taste of Kindness: Volunteers Turn Community Spirit into Support

On July 18, 2026, the MAHAK community came together for a heartwarming volunteer initiative. A local food bazaar was held on MAHAK’s premises, inviting staff and fellow volunteers to enjoy home-cooked, authentic dishes while contributing to the treatment and support of children with cancer.

The event was more than a gathering. Every dish sold represented a direct contribution toward the care of children with cancer, demonstrating how volunteers can turn their time and talents into tangible support. The initiative also highlighted the strength of the MAHAK volunteer community and the power of collective action.

All proceeds generated from the sale were dedicated to supporting children with cancer and the medical and psychosocial services that remain central to MAHAK’s mission.

Thank You to Our Volunteers

MAHAK extends its sincere gratitude to every volunteer who prepared the meals and to all staff members who participated. Their contribution is a reminder that when a community unites around a common purpose, every small act of generosity can help build a stronger and more supportive network for children and families.

“When we unite around a common purpose, every small act of generosity becomes part of
a stronger network of care.”
