Chemotherapy
The chemotherapy section of MAHAK hospital is specially for outpatients who need chemotherapy but are not in need of an overnight stay so they can leave the hospital after taking medicines. This section has 10 beds, and is open 24 hours a day because of the large amount of patients in need of treatment. Next to each bed is a TV, DVD, and a refrigerator. In this section, there are also playing tables for the children with psychologists always present. These psychologists work to manage and lower the children’s stress levels, helping them overcome the difficulties of chemotherapy.
