Global Week for Action on NCDs 2026: Leadership in Focus – From Commitments to Delivery

MAHAK Charity Institute joins the global health community in observing the Global Week for Action on NCDs (August 31–September 4). Under the theme “Leadership in Focus: From Commitments to Delivery,” this year’s campaign calls for turning political promises into tangible implementation, sustainable financing, and measurable progress for noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) and mental health.

Timed alongside the 3rd International Dialogue on Sustainable Financing for NCDs, the week emphasizes the transition from global advocacy to concrete delivery. For MAHAK, pediatric cancer represents a complex NCD that requires a comprehensive approach. We translate “delivery” into daily practice by ensuring uninterrupted access to medical treatment, social services, and vital psychosocial support for young patients and their families.

As health advocates unite worldwide to demand accountability and stronger health systems, MAHAK remains committed to transforming resources into active, life-saving care.
