The 3rd Biennial International Pediatric Oncology Congress

The 3rd Biennial International Pediatric Oncology Congress in Memory of Prof. Parvaneh Vossough will be held at MAHAK Pediatric Cancer Treatment and Research Center (MPCTRC) on 5-7 September 2018 with the cooperation of Iranian Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology (ISPHO) and German Society for Pediatric Oncology and Hematology (GPOH).

MPCTRC is a major referral center for all kind of childhood malignancies. Current improvements in diagnosis and treatment of cancer-stricken children are based on genetic and molecular markers and individual drug sensibility of each patient which have resulted in more promising cure rates.

The goal of this congress is provisioning deeper insight and knowledge on relevant properties and treatment of common childhood malignancies and how to translate it into practice by international and national experts .Our colleagues will have an open forum for case presentation, discussion and exchange of information and expertise .A platform is designated for medical students who will be instructed by international experts about current diagnosis and treatment approaches in cancer patients.

We believe these international sessions and workshops will motivate and eases the accessibility of scientific knowledge to oncologists working across the country thus realizing our goal “treatment for all“.
