Today, MAHAK Charity Institute marks World Hepatitis Day, joining the global call to accelerate the eradication of viral hepatitis. Under the 2026 theme, “Elimination for everyone, everywhere, right now!”, this year’s campaign demands urgent action across five critical pillars: expanding testing, strengthening hepatitis B vaccination coverage, accelerating treatment access, reducing social stigma, and promoting early intervention before advanced liver damage occurs.

Viral hepatitis remains a major global health challenge, often progressing silently without early symptoms. Addressing this threat requires robust public health strategies and widespread awareness.

At MAHAK, we believe that safeguarding community health and promoting early detection are vital to protecting the future of all children. By supporting global health initiatives and raising awareness for preventable diseases, we contribute to a safer, healthier environment where families can thrive. On this day, MAHAK stands with the international health community in advocating for the resources and collective commitment needed to make hepatitis elimination a reality.
